Gary Severson has spent 19 years as a full time saddle fitter, the last 5 years as both a saddle fitter and equine therapist.  He has been the US event team saddler since 1995, and Canadian event team saddler from 1996 until 2002.  In 1996 Gary handled saddlery for both the US and Canadian event and dressage teams. 

Gary had a full service saddle repair shop with employees in Connecticut until

semi-retirement in August 2006.  At that time he sold the business to an employee.  He kept 20% of his barn customers and continues to service them, but no longer does repairs. 

In January 2008, Gary spoke to the US Pony Club national convention on saddle fitting and the importance of same.    

Gary now lives in Pennsylvania and we are delighted to have the opportunity for Gary to explain the saddle fitting process during this seminar.
